Garlic Buns with Creamy Cheese
When you are planning for a company breakfast meeting, why not try out this delicious, easy to make garlic buns with creamy cheese bread. The buns are a classic, delicious and very fluffy.
Ingredients Needed
- 500 g flour
- 10 g of salt
- 10 g baking powder
- 80 g of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 200 mL of warm milk
- 75 g butter
- 1 beaten egg to varnish
- Black sesame to decorate
- 300 g of medium creamy cheese in medium cubes
- 4 tbsp fried garlic
How to prepare Garlic Buns with Creamy Cheese
- Get a mixing bowl, and mix the the dry flour, yeast, salt, and sugar together. Then form a small hole in the center of the mixture and add the warm milk
- Start whisking the mixture from the center using a fork, to gradually mix the mixtures
- Place the dough on a table, add butter and work the dough by throwing, folding until the butter blends well and you get a firm, even texture. If you have a mixer, you can use it for an easier work
- Place the dough in a pre-greased bowl and cover with a barely damp cloth. Allow it to rest for at least 2 hours or until it doubles in size at room temperature
- At this time, divide the dough between 12 – 15 portions enough to serve each person. Flatten each dough and fill with a portion of cheese and a little garlic in the center of the dough. Then shape into a ball until the surface has a smooth finish
- Place each dough in a baking sheet. Then cover the buns with a semi-damp cloth and allow to stand for about 20 minutes.
- Then preheat the oven at least 10 minutes in advance while the buns are getting ready. Apply each buns with egg and decorate with sesame seeds. Then place in the oven and bake for between 25-30 minutes or until they turn golden color.
- Serve immediately
