- 1 lb Sausage
- 1/2 Onion (diced)
- 3 tbsp Chili Power
- 1 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Power
- 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
- 2 tbsp Cumin
- 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 2 tsp Garlic Power (or substitute with fresh garlic)
- 2 cups Beef Bone Broth
- 1 can Fire roasted tomatoes (15 oz)
- 1 small jalapeno, ground and deseeded (or 1 can of Rotel tomatoes & chilis)
- 1/4 tsp Xanthan for more thickness ((optional))
